Hey Everyone -
I received a Ford email with my build week and VIN on July 1. I noticed the color was wrong. I checked with my dealer and it seems like my original order number was not in the system and my email had a different order number. My dealer confirmed the order was in the system for a different color than what I ordered and it also included the Keyless-Entry Keypad which I didn't want. Yesterday the dealer updated the order to change color and remove Keyless-Entry Keypad. When I selected Track My Order button in the email the color and details did seem to update. When I selected Track My Order today it seems to have reverted back to the wrong color and include the Keyless-Entry Keypad.

What can be done at this point? Any suggestions?

Do I just go back to the dealer again? Should I phone someone at Ford?

I suspect any changes at this point will disrupt my build date?

Thank you in advance!

Call Ford.

No one here can fix it for you. The dealer said they did but it reverted back. Best bet, go right to the source.

Thanks for the post. When did you order your Bronco? Can you tell me how much the dealer asked you to pay for a deposit to order? Just trying to figure out what others are experiencing...

I understand you can't fix this. Who is the source? Dealer or some other contact that might help at Ford?

The customer service number (which I don't know off top of my head) and they will push you to a Bronco specialist.

Once a Vin is populated no changes can be made.

My order details are in my signature. Dealer committed to MSRP (in email), I agreed to a $1,000 deposit on the order

Great, thank you for the suggestion. I imagine someone on B6G will have the customer service number.

Edit: There may be another number buried in the forum, but that one above should work.

Sounds like your dealer fucked up and once you have a vin no changes can be made maybe see if you can get a discount on the one that’s coming that they fucked up only other opttion would be to order agagin but then your screwed for this year and possibly next

I read horror stories like this than I start to worry how the fuck can people be so stupid whoever did the data entry for your order needs to be fired like they should have double and triple checked before they hit enter

It is not entirely true that once a VIN is generated no changes can be made. It is more like no customer changes can be made but if something was entered wrong by the dealer it can and will be fixed.

@footsteps first thing you need to do is contact your dealership, not Ford or the Bronco hotline, and verify the order is correct in the system. If it is not, they need to contact their dealer rep and go through the process of getting the order corrected. It may take a few days but can be done.

Source: A member in our group had color entered wrong and corrected post VIN. Another member had color and interior entered wrong and corrected post VIN.
