I’m only trying to find spring combos for BL and SAS. Haven’t got enough samples yet to draw a conclusion or pattern but it’s interesting to see how tow does and doesn’t affect some door and engine combos.

I tried to bring attention to Legend's statement back in January that the tow package does alter the suspension. But many were adamant that it was just a carrier and harness. Legend was our eyes on the ground crawling over the rigs, but yet many on B6G didn't listen.

It's strange a front spring on 2d sas 2.7 with tow is the same as a 4d sas 2.7 without tow but a 2d 2.7 sas without tow is a different one. I have not seen enough to say if trans makes difference as much as engine, door and tow.

I look forward to the results of the project that you have undertaken. And it is odd to me that the transmission has no effect as certainly the manual is lighter than the auto. Legend had insinuated that the shocks were tuned differently based on the build and the respective weight. I'm pretty sure all of his posts were wiped back in February when he went dark.

Transmission should too. It's important to remember that the springs are matched to the vehicle by some crazy process that sounds like it involves a computer measuring something on the vehicle. So it wouldn't completely surprise me if the same vehicle with/without tow might be skewed. Also the badlands has the extra weight of MOD bumper, bash plates, and M210 upfront which will change the math from say a normal bumper OBX without plates.

What we need is the actual spring rates!
