when you get back, please let us know your delivery date.

Intersting. Thats nice. I need to test this on my 23 Badlands. I normally just walk up and enjoy the Auto Unlock feature. I hated having to click unlock with my Wrangler. So in theory mine could have this and I just never noticed because I never actually click "unlock" on the key fob. Knowing my luck it won't. Dang. Now I have to go all the way down to the parking lot to test this. Oh well. Update to come.

Yeah, I just checked and that is weird. We have MY23 Raptor built in March and a MY23 Badlands built in September.

Raptor doesn't do it, Badlands does. Of note, it only does it on key fob unlock. Touching the door handle does not lower the window.

Also just checked the Ford app to see if there is a difference in Firmware and how the two vehicles show up in my app is different.

Raptor is on 4.2.2.3 and in the app there is no Zone Lighting in Features & Settings

I forgot how I did it, but I think you can get zone lighting by contacting them or unregistering/reregistering your car in the app

There's a couple threads that talk about this window drop update. It occurred from the factory during Job 2 builds this year. There's a thread that talks about the update to prior models being available for the 4D, but I havent seen the 2D mentioned yet.

interesting. So are you saying there is an update to install this feature on 2023 job 1 vehicles? Is it an OTA update?

Just checked and my '23 Badlands does not have this feature. Mine was one of the first to roll off in MY'23, with a build date of 11/22/22 & delivery 12/16/22. Happy 1 Year Anniversary to ME!!!!

Anyways, @Ford should definitely roll this out to all Bronco owners via OTA update! A technical update/patch is bound to be FAR MORE of an economical cost savings to a manual dealership repair. Let's hope for the best.

I took delivery April of 2023 so I bet this is a recent feature. Maybe a Job 2 update?

I wonder if a dealership can reprogram 2023 Job 1 vehicles?
I took delivery April 2023 too, confirmed doesn’t work on mine.

My 23 built in March/Delivered in April does not do this although it says it can. All of my F150's and Super Duty's did this though.

f150 and super duty windows are framed which means there is no need for them to drop when opening the door. My 2021 f150 raptor windows does not have this feature

Only vehicles built on or after 7/12/23 do this from the factory. Ford released an SSM on it a while ago.
