Have these on my 2 door Jeep, they are the only ones I’ve had that stand up to the abuse

Nice! Do you have the dimpled tread plate? Able to use as steps? Does it mount to existing holes in frame or is there drilling involved.

Was able to get rock sliders added on to the Wildtrak. Local guys at Shrockworks set me up good!
Great balance of protection and function.

On to the next upgrade.

Very nice. Did you need to drill the frame for mounting or are there existing holes that these attach to?

Shrockworks makes good stuff. How is the attachment? I want no part of welding to these high strength alloy steel frames.
Heat treat for the strength comes prior to Ford welding on the frame. Your not going to compromise anything with weld on sliders. You should see them weld I-Beams on high rises.

Let's see how they mounted them!

Do you have a picture looking more from the top and down the side to get an idea how far these stick out to protect the body? They look pretty tucked in on the pics posted.

100% bolt on and definitely a useful step. I’ve got 4 boys under 11 and a 5’2” wife and they especially love the step.

Didn't they have to drill those holes though?

If we can confirm those holes exist in the frame and we can just bolt them in, these will be the winners for what I will use on ours.

I watched a video of the Shrockworks sliders installed on a 4runner and a few holes had to be drilled even though the website didn't mention that. I would also like confirmation that no holes were drilled for this install. They look pretty good. I'm glad to see more legit sliders coming to market.

Didn't they have to drill those holes though?
There are a total of 8, ½” fasteners that attach the sliders to the frame. 7 of them use existing holes. The 8th requires a ½” hole to be drilled in the bottom of the frame and is recommended if you intend to use them as rock sliders, but not required. They use some specialty fasteners that we call stick nuts, which are nuts on a long formable sheet-metal handle to get a nut in the inside of the frame on 6 of the mounting locations.
