You're only option is the $1650 top or the hardtop. I don't see an option to pick the original top that was included in the press
They are updating B&P as we speak. 10 minutes ago on the Black Diamond and BL there was no option listed for an included soft top
Why would ford make any changes to b and p for 2021 at this point ???? they keep adding confusion to already confused and frusterated situation my lord ford what are you doing who is running this company right now

I haven’t had a chance to look yet but I know that sometimes the B&P does not switch between 2 door and 4 door when toggled and the selectable options on the right show a 4 door.

No it's not. The "backflip" is just the Sunrider from BesTop. It is an accessory and doesn't replace the MIC top. When installed, it replaces the two front panels of the MIC. And it opens just as the name that the rockstars implies - backflip.
For the BesTop Fastback, it also opens in the Sunrider fashion (doesn't collapse all the way to the back like the factory Moar Door ST). Or it can be configured safari style with the rear windows removed. It obviously replaces the entire MIC when installed.
But in either case, none of the options replaces the factory MIC top.
But why does it show as additional too the original soft top and not in lieu of? Can't imagine people wanting an extra soft top.

Ford just let people with 2dr orders swap out for a soft top and you can put more 2dr broncos out. Just saying for a friend
I'm very suspicious about this, I'll hold out celebrating until there's an actual announcement and not just forum speculation @PREMiERdrum any insights?

The front panel Bestop sunrider is listed as an accessory that costs $1,299. The Backflip is listed as a roof option for $1,650. Obviously we can't rely on anything in the B&P but this appears to be different.
The full soft tops are both listed around $2,000. So the "Backflip" is between the cost of the half soft top and the full soft top.
Interesting.
I checked the OBX two door on the B&P. if you select the $2000 canvas top with mesh sun top, the hard top MIC is still standard on the build. You can’t delete the MIC. The soft top appears to be an option and not the sole top available for the two door. Unless this is an error on the B&P, two doors still require hardtops for the build. Now maybe Ford will offer the “ hard top kit” option on two doors like they have on the four doors. I guess if someone wants their two door bad enough they will pony up the extra two grand for the possible temporary fix.
