Newly received Raptors, issues on inspection?

Check your swingate over. Mine had a paint chip on the lower left corner.

My other two post delivery issues were:
  1. Adjusted the shift lever alignment because it would not randomly engage in reverse twice.
  2. Had the a pillar roof leak TSB issue fixed. (Leave it out in the rain overnight and see if you get water leaking into you a pillars.

This is what I am not looking forward to. To be clear is it just stripped wheel studs on the spare or on other wheels as well?

Oxidation from what you think? Did it sit on rail for a long time? Or maybe does it capture moisture between the ring and the wheel ?
My guess is moisture that gets behind the beauty ring.

As of right now its just the spare tire carrier as they probably scraped the studs mounting the spare. Ill know in the next couple hours if its any of the actual wheels as well.

UPDATE: only spare tire studs had the issue

i have yet to have the door fixed, dealer wants to send it to a body shop they use in town to fix it and said they would need the vehicle a week.

stripped bolts are being repaired next week.

new carbon fiber grab handle on order.

This also happened to mine, I just unscrewed the handle and tucked the carbon fiber in and then screwed it back down.

22' model it looks like from your signature?

Great tips here for intial vehicle inspection. I can't imagine having to leave the vehicle for "fix up" work upon delivery... Maybe I'll have that luxury/dilemma later this year.

I agree on the pride part and folks just trying to get to the end of the day and back to social media or whatever.
I especially enjoyed my “assembled with pride at the Michigan Assembly Plant” sticker in the windshield. It was all bubbly and a little crooked. Kind of says it all. Removing the sticker was my first “mod”.

but that said, so far the only quality issue was a couple very small bubbles in the paint on a fender. Found them at the ppf shop and just wrapped over them. If those bubbles are the worst problem with my truck when that ppf comes off some day, I’ll be pretty happy!

Wonder if this shifting issue falls into the 10speed auto recall issues ?

Also looks like we can add Cam Phaser issues to the list of things to be on the lookout for.

Wonder if this shifting issue falls into the 10speed auto recall issues ?
It happened a few times in the first month, and it hasn’t happened again after he adjusted the linkage. And mine was finally built in early August before the 10AT loose bolt issue production time frame.

So, I think it just needed that adjustment.
