Anyone know why this is actually there on the back of the center console? And does anyone have any plans to cover it up with some kind of bronco emblem or something? Just looks weird.

To keep people from stepping/standing on it when the roof is off so it doesn't break

"But how am I supposed to film myself standing up with the roof off, no seat belt on, going down the highway for Insta/TikTok/FB, etc.??!"

So it seems you are saying there is a label somewhere that says "No Step" on the back of the console?

I'll say it's so no moron steps on it, breaks it, and then threatens to sue Ford because they were not told to avoid doing stupid things.

It's either...

1.) So you can't sue Ford for bodily injuries or vehicle damage resulting from standing on the console, or

2.) A challenge.😘😘

I will not only let it stay visible, I think it would be funny to actually build a step just above it and label it: Yes Step. 😍

Wranglers have the same thing IIRC. Would imagine it’s to prevent accidental death lawsuits since the top of the Bronco comes off and you can stand on the center console

Seems ridiculous that we have to try and prevent stupidity. Just looks like something you’d find on a work truck not your personal vehicle. I’d rather you just put it in the manual. Nothing wrong with thinning the herd.

OK, a little off topic, but does that include the McDonalds sign that says "Caution - Coffee is Hot"?:ROFLMAO:
