There's a guy on here whose dealer is looking for a non-refundable deposit for 10% of the price!

Only if they have multiple reservations and at the very least it should be refundable because it's a huge stretch
to buy/order a vehicle you have never seen in person or driven.

Ford allows you to make 2 reservations per account.
Time to change dealers. They shouldn’t charge anything and hope you change your mind when the time comes so they can mark it up. Non refundable = a hard pass for me

They can’t even tell you if you’re getting the vehicle in the next 12 months until sometime in May. No way am I giving up any more $ than the initial refundable $100.

And when I pushed back, in typical shady dealer bs he started changing his story. Told me I'm not in his allocations anyway (then why are you asking for $2500 non refundable deposit?!?) I'm a day 3 reservation.
And all of a sudden he went from 50 reservations to well over 50 reservations.
How are these guys in business is beyond me.
