I was able to fold the front two in, you can see it in the first pic and last pic, how the screw is covered up.
Rotate the grommet end to face up and the handle will not droop so low.
This is how I did it to remove some of the droop. Install your grab handles like you should install toilet paper rolls.

Well I had the Badland orange Paracord and was tired of the droop. So I bought the Spartan handles. They are up high out of the way, still allows me to grab a handle getting in, and are a real Oh Crap handle for off road.

I'm 6-4-1/2 and I am nowhere close to the handles. As for hitting them in an accident, well I'm in bigger trouble with a rollover in the soft-top.

This said, taking them off, I guess there could be a way to fold over one side, perhaps staple it? Strap it? to shorten it. I plan on using my cords as a handle to close the soft top rear. I have the lift kit on it, the Paracord will make a great handle to grab and close it by.

I’ve been tying paracord projects for a long time now, and my ego keeps me from buying someone else’s macrame. My plan is to run a basic cobra knot between the two screws. I’m then going to add another layer of cobra knot over the top of that to make a handle. My Big Bend has the Sandstone interior, and I had this crazy idea that I was going to acquire Sandstone paracord. Nope, so plain black it is. I believe my design will provide both stability and flexibility.
Have you tried this place? Tons of color options

I have absolutely no clue why everything on the market is the length it is.
Well GroovyGeek, I'm thinking 99% of the people that buy paracord grab handles have no problems with saggy handles. You are in that 1% that have to have high & tight grab handles!

There's my custom 2 color handle...well 1 of them anyway...3 more to go.
17" of webbing with a 1" foldover on the grommet ends. Total 15".

6' of each color Paracord for approx 12" of handle wrap.

Guess I’m in the 1% too because I prefer the high and tight handles
