Yeah the differential is not going to make a difference.

What may have made a difference is you got suspension made for a much heavier BL on your lightweight OBX. So your springs were too stiff, resulting in a rough ride.
While a reasonable hypothesis, I doubt that is the problem. The Hitachi shocks are a little less stiff, but not radically so.

FWIW, I am running the Badlands non-Sasquatch suspension on my 2 door advanced 4x4 OBX (4416#) and although it needed a few miles to settle in, it's not harsh or a rough ride. It's actually butter smooth with the original OBX wheels and tires. If it is riding like shit, more than likely what is needed is an adjustment to the tire pressure. As for the vibration, that's all tires and balancing. I had a bit of trouble with my Patagonia M/T's and it took multiple times to get it balanced right.

I would look first at the tires.
