Gotcha, yeah makes sense now why you would just want to swap struts if you want to keep factory ride height.

Minimum would be about 1.5"-2"
Are the Eibach shocks available alone without buying the springs? If so that might be an option for me.

Awesome! I stand corrected. Either way I think takeoffs are a great way to go for non-Sas broncos wanting a better ride
I'd advise take-offs for anyone also, good shocks at a bargain price.

Agree on 5100s. I have ran that series before and did not find them to be soft at all. They are both valved firmer and are digressive. The SAS actually rides pretty well on road, a lot softer than my Jeep.

5100's would be going the wrong direction. Their digressive valving makes them ride firmer than most other options. As posted, I think the Eibach is probably the softest ride out there, but going on a non Squatch, you will have some lift even when set at the lowest ride heights.

A progressive valving would be best for a plush ride.

I'm curious for those that want stock ride heights, what the Monroe OESpectrum's are like.

Another very viable option is the Rancho RS5000X which is a progressive valved shock.

@Rancho Suspension Maybe my old friend Matt will chime in here.

Appreciate all the good information so far!

A couple followup questions:

Can anyone verify if these part # from the Suspension cookbook are correct, if I wanted to order the parts from Ford for my 2 door 2.7L - I want minimum amt. of lift, so these Non-SAS Badlands should only give me 1/2" of lift:

Front Shock - MB3Z-18124-BA (8/05/21-) Engineering #: MB3C-18045-APJ
Front Spring - MB3Z-5310-F (5/03/21-) Engineering #: MB3C-5310-ANB
Rear Shock - MB3Z-18125-BD (9/15/21-) Engineering #: MB3C-18080-APJ
Rear Spring - MB3Z-5560-F (5/03/21-) Engineering#: MB3C-5534-ANC

Question 2: Anyone confirm if the Monroe OE Spectrum for Hoss 1.0 will indeed fit my '23 Bronco OBX 2-door? Presumably this just would replace the factory strut and leave the existing springs in place? If so - would it result in a more cushy ride?

Monroe Part: 73135 - OE Spectrum strut, front, Hoss 1.0 suspension
Monroe Part: 73136 - OE Spectrum strut, rear, Hoss 1.0 suspension

The SAS Bilstein suspension for Hoss 2.0 is relatively easy to find as far as 4-door takeoffs. Good many of those on Marketplace and Ebay.

The non-SAS Bilstein Hoss 2.0 for Badlands is the harder one to find. And 2-door specific is even harder. Even the shock part # are different.

Haven't seen many Hoss 3.0 takeoffs at all on the searches on Facebook marketplace, Ebay, and Bronco 6G.

I guess I'm going to just have to be patient. Eventually a set of 2 door Badlands non-SAS suspension will come up.
