I just picked up my new Everglades this evening with 19 miles on the odometer and drove home. As I was backing into my driveway with 56 miles on the vehicle hot coolant began to leak out from under the hood. Not exactly the new car smell I was hoping for..... To say this is depressing is the understatement of the year!!!

+1 for something simple. I took delivery during winter, then in late spring found out my AC didn't work. I dreaded taking it into the dealer and kept ignoring it. Finally I took some advice from a member here and started to troubleshoot myself, only to find that the plug to the compressor was not plugged in 🤦‍♂️ .

Well that sucks. Probably some simple human error.
I had a brand new Peterbuilt spring a coolant leak through what appeared to be a staple hole in a heater hose where some parts moron had probably affixed a tag. And the next idiot installed it on the truck.

Wow, post pics of that very unusual coolant leak (and pics of your new ride too)!

This happened to my 21 Bronco at 113 miles and to my 23 Bronco at 1200 miles so I believe you! o_O The good news is it was in your driveway... each of mine were several states away from home.

What was the cause of each?

Sorry to hear.
IIRC, there were some other owners that experienced the same issue and it was the belt or pulley rubbing on the hose that wasn’t affixed properly. (Dare I say this was known issue)
