Who knows. They don't even list any specs. Why don't you try out the drag race one and let us know how it is?Anyone know if this is a good clutch or not?
South Bend is a big name, so I trust their products, just we need more infoAnyone know if this is a good clutch or not?
Lol im thinking more if the daily one is good or not. I've been wanting to see if any of the aftermarket clutches are stronger than stock one in case I burn my clutch up on trailsWho knows. They don't even list any specs. Why don't you try out the drag race one and let us know how it is?
For their price it had better be stronger. Stage 2 would hopefully mean beefier friction material on the disc. The daily version might not have much spring tension change with the pressure plate. Half the cost of the kit is probably that lighter flywheel. There are some companies out there that allow you to send them a stock clutch disc and they'll install better friction material if you're just after better holding engagement and it's cheaper than replacing all of the system parts.Lol im thinking more if the daily one is good or not. Hydraulic. No adjustment, impossible to bleed w/out Phoenix injector (shop manual lists it as required now!)I used one of their Stg 3 Daily clutches on my TT, it was nice to drive and definitely held solid but it took a little bit to break in. They're a big name, so I would basically trust the product and I had a good experience.
Now, here is the real question: how will the clutch cylinder handle it? It is electronic, right? Is that something anyone has adjusted?
That stinks, do you have to break the hydraulic lines when doing a clutch? Love to see the shop manual. Wondering how bad of a trail repair a clutch could be.Hydraulic. No adjustment, impossible to bleed w/out Phoenix injector (shop manual lists it as required now!)
Unless you pack a phoenix injector it will be impossible...although you might make it back by pumping the bajeezus out of it. I'm not doing it!That stinks, do you have to break the hydraulic lines when doing a clutch? Love to see the shop manual. Wondering how bad of a trail repair a clutch could be.
Crap, Ford couldn't put in 2 bolts to pull the slave cylinder...Unless you pack a phoenix injector it will be impossible...although you might make it back by pumping the bajeezus out of it. I'm not doing it!
