Nope ford has one but it is more expensiveI thought the OEM sunrider was made by Bestops
Thank you!!!!Ford sells the Bestop sunrider for more money. They are exactly the same, both made by Bestop.
30 decibels quieter on the highway? No way. Do you mean 3? I'd love to see the numbers...Were a bestop dealer, but we also carry a new brand to the market for the 6g Broncos, Armadillo Designs. We are a dealer for them and their new Aluminum hard top with squareback or slantback designs! Less than OEM substantially, 30 decibels quieter on the highway, able to attach a roof rack with an 800lb load rating, removable roof panels for a "open top" effect without taking the entire thing off (roof panels fit in the back of the Bronco similar to how the doors fit) AND has side access gullwings for the back quarter panels! These start at $4,895 in raw and going up to $7099 coated with interior paneling, these ship welded together and ready to install!
These are new and not yet fully up on the site, so DM me for more information, more pictures or more details!
Check out some pics below!
Blanco Bronco stole the Armadillo Designs truck in the pictures above and did his own test and scoring on it. Decibel tested on the freeway doing 60mph in his bronco and then tested the Armadillo Designs and it was over 30 decibels quieter. Check the video and let me know if you have any questions. He goes over roof rating/capacity and strength, how the latches and roof design is made, road tests it...30 decibels quieter on the highway? No fucking way. Do you mean 3?
LOL NO. It is not 30 decibels quieter. That would be absolutely insane.Blanco Bronco stole the Armadillo Designs truck in the pictures above and did his own test and scoring on it. I did not perform the test and it is a phone application, so I dont doubt the numbers arent "exact" as a true reader. The bronco in the video was using a RTT and roof rack, had oversized offroad tires and exhaust. The Armadillo bronco has a roof light bar and larger more aggressive offroad wheels, it was not running a rack or tent however. Either way the same device in the same location measured substantially less. Come out to One of the Bronco events that has this bronco or others with the top and check it yourself. Take the exact # out of the equation, its still substantially quieter than a OEM hardtop side by side, offers more than 2" additional headroom inside the back seat, stronger and more modular. Those are the points making it better than the OEM and its fiberglass competitors, being quieter, even if its only 5-10 actual decibel is only more reasons adding to its superiority.LOL NO. If his decibel reader was accurate then he had a serious issue, or was flat out lying to sell the hard top. Over 100 db is crazy and not believable.
Broncos with a hard top are in the low 70s decibel wise. A Jeep with the non-premium hardtop and offroad tires will hit 80 decibels. Anything over 85 is harmful to hearing.
70 db at 74 mph in this video.
