Has anybody switched to a soft top by Bestop, I think it is called Trerk Top? The original soft top is very noise with minimal isolation and I was wondering if the Bestop is quieter before I make the switch. I really want to stay with a soft top due to convinience
Thanks

I just swapped out my stock soft top for a Bestop, took about 2 hrs.
I love the new look and fit.

Right? I feel like people are bizarrely closed mouth about this mod. All the posts are like "Yes, I have it."

Would like to know as well. I have the Sunrider, and I love the convenience. But, it is SO LOUD. Would love to know if the factory soft top is loud as well, and if the Bestop replacement is any better.

I don’t think the soft top is bad at all for noise and it’s my first soft top. I was especially surprised in the front seats I’ve had cars that were almost as loud with wind noise. Now, highway speed with 25 mph winds it gets noisy but heck what does anyone expect with that.

I have the oem soft top and was considering the bestop. The fit and finish is very good on the bestop, these guys have been building them for jeeps for years. I had a chance play with one for a little bit and the noise was similar. The biggest drawback for me was that his doesn't fold back entirely and I'd like to have the option to run with the top fully open. If that's not an issue for you its a great choice.

I think the Bestop quality is better than the OEM top, however it does not fold all the way back like the OEM one does and I would guaranteed slam it into my garage door crossbeam.
