They don't come across as very bright. Some of the things they do and say make me wonder.

I like watching Matt's Off Road Recovery from southern Utah. It is a family friendly channel and while they do show some driving (because they have to get to the people who are stuck or in trouble) watching them use just an XJ with a winch and Yankum Ropes is the real interesting part.

I liked Epic when they started but it got stale quickly. I don’t enjoy the narration and the calming music. You’re right - the formula sucks. But they are probably making good money. Don’t they make like $3 an episode from their Patreons?

I wish I had some personality or I’d start my own. But I fear it’d be even more boring. I thought of starting one making fun of those other guys. They say some stupid shit Sometimes.

Thats the case with most of these "personalities" - They are the Jeep guy, the Tacoma guy, the average dude and hot wife who live out of their camper guys or the hot chick who is into "boys' toys" guy.

Not shaming them, that's the formula that works. Guy Fieri is a hair style and a bowling shirt, and also a famous millionaire....

I've watched a bit of Expedition Overland and really liked it. They have a ton of content on their channel.

The Story Til now is by far the best offroad channel I've watched. It is in Canada mostly but dope trails and rock crawling.
