Exactly what I thought, 2-3 MPG hit each for the 2.7L or Sasquatch. A little surprised the BD robs 4 MPG off the 2.3L HWY number though. Sheesh. I may just keep the OEM tires on my BB.
Probably not just the tires alone. It's gonna be heavier with the steel bumper/plates and the stock 4.7 rear differential doesn't help maters.

I'm not blown away with these numbers but I am Ok with them.

If these are the official imaginarily good numbers, I might be giving those old gas guzzling V8's a run for their money when I put my foot into the fun pedal.

At least it will have 400+ftlb of torque.
I’d rather put them up against a modern V8 that’s not gas guzzling with 400+ftlb.

Considering my 5700 lb F150 with a 5.0 and 34x11.5 AT w/3.55 gears gets 17.2.... 17 for a SAS 2.7 sounds about right.

While im happy the numbers are not officially dumpster shit 15mpg

with these numbers there is OFFICIALLY no reason that ford should not put the 5.0 coyote in the car

none

at all

the whole "eco" ford thing is out the window. Its a performance off road car now give us the v8

As aerodynamic as a Barn Door, heavy, big tires and high gearing. What are you expecting?
Ford also sells the Mach E if you cannot take 17 mpg. Still gets 5 mpg better than my Tundra Pro.

Is that the new 5.0 with cylinder deactivation? (2021+)

2.7 with 3.73 gears OBX should get 21 mpg :)
My Taurus limited only gets 22, so these numbers for OBX 2.7 do not scare me at all.
