Yup...dumb ass voters keep passing tax hikes without knowing they are doing it. Right now has prices are reasonable, but when a road trip cost you $200 in gas..you post threads like this.
What they need to do is pass a mileage tax as opposed to more gas taxes. That way all the electric vehicles pay their fare share. As the most populous state we need our roads fixed frequently so I understand some of the gas taxes, but it needs to be more equitable. The last time voters approved a gas tax hike many voters did not realize it included an automatic annual increase. Ouch!

16.1 avg read out however, you could see the mpg gauge as well

Looks like he’s getting about 16-17mpg real-time on the gauge cruising at 47 mph. But it also bounces around at 20mpg. I think the tell is that the moment he pulls up the read out, he is steady on the throttle and the gauge reads around 16-17 (closer to 16) when he’s going 50
Right after I fill up my F-150 you will see the mileage per gallon do weird stuff because it is trying to do an average with a small sample of driving conditions.
I notice the Bronco's fuel gauge is reading "full" also.
