Absolutely. I would love to have another EB (Had a 76), but would be too worried to actually use it on the trail. The stock model 20 xfer case was not geared nealy low enough and the steel on those trucks was pretty thin walled. They loved to rust out the floor boards.
I'm with you, the new gen will be better all around for being able to actually use and enjoy the truck, while looking amazing & similar enough to the original.
The Bronco 20 TC was 2.46 : 1, not too bad, but the 3spd was lacking. Jeep's Mod 20 TC had 2.0 : 1, helpless without a granny gear.

Old school is cool. But new tecnology always wins for me. Very pleased with both the 2 dr and 4 dr versions. Ford gets a 10 out of 10 from me.

Yes they did!

I also wouldn’t mind a little Bronco (new script) badging on the fender like the original
Yep, kinda upsetting they used the Sport name on the other one. Would loved to have seen that name revived along with the Ranger for the lux package.

While we are all waiting for the b&p tool, fighting over problems that do not exist yet. I though it would be talk about something positive.

I feel this is a great representation of old vs new.

I think the designers did a great job!
The designers of the new Bronco did a great job.

But the designers who actually came up with the original did an amazing and truly masterful job. They created the look.????

Body of the new Bronco looks similar to the old Broncos. But a lot of the old Broncos had white wheels and white tops. No white tops or white wheels as options on the new Bronco (so far)

Agree with this and had always thought I’d do white top etc but then thought I should just let the OG be the OG and the new be new with kudos to the OG. That make sense?

Regarding badge adhesives, this is the stuff (3M VHB tape). Double sided adhesive, attach badge to one side and trim. Best with patient use of an X-acto knife and a pack of sharp blades. Get it at Home Depot, Lowes, etc.

I think the EB’s are incredible. I would love to own one but from a financial perspective... never gonna happen. The 6G definitely carries the spirit of the EB but will be 100x more practical to daily drive and take on road trips etc. If I’m ever lucky enough to be able to afford an EB it will be a mall crawler for going out to old town Scottsdale etc.

I am strongly considering the retro stripe To combine old and new school.

I sure wish they’d offer paint colors from the EB era. A brown paint option like my ‘75 in Sequoia brown metallic with a white top that I sold about 5 years ago would have been awesome.

Occasionally I wonder if I want a 4 door. Then I see images like these and think, "Not a chance"!
I am getting a four door for family reasons. However, I feel the two door is the best reprentation of a classic. of

A wrap or paint like this would merge old and new perfectly:

I was thinking the same. I actually looked up some suppliers. They all have have plastic "pegs" on the back of the script emblem to insert into holes in the fenders. I thought maybe to sand off the "pegs" and use some type of adhesive. I then was afraid the adhesive would ruin paint.

Let me know if anyone have insight on attaching vehicle emblems.
Have you figured out how to attach after taking off the pegs?

Hey now I disagree. I live in northern Colorado. we get a lot of hail. Mine sat outside through several storms. no hail dents at all. I see new vehicles everyday that look like golf balls. I 4wheel in mine a lot. A few mods and low gears and it's an unstoppable beast. My floors are solid. I got mine in Arizona. It lived there for a very long time. Picture from this past August. Oh and by the way It's insured for $40k incase I get in that crash that may total it.
