Just my luck. Badlands ordered in March arrived at the dealership with hail damage. The dealer will repair dings (about 30 or so) and replace the soft top. However they have a Wildtrak with a hardtop that they will sell me at msrp if I want it. Not sure which one to go with. I’m leaning toward the Wildtrak with the top. Any advice would be great,

Is the Wildtrack HOSS 3.0…if so Wildtrack for sure; unless you’re planning on some serious rock crawling?
Really what matters is what YOU want/are planning to do with it. Good luck!

You really can't go wrong with either one, unless you have specific needs and a desire not to upgrade here or there. PDR can be pretty good. I'd say it's a toss-up, go with your gut.

See if they will put the cardboard top on the badlands, then you drive away with the wildtrak with a new soft top?

My vote goes to the Badlands. Better bumpers. Soft top. Mic top color doesn’t look right. Don’t care for gloss black WT grill. BL has the SBD. Toss up really. These are the only 2 trims I would buy.

Between the two Wildtrak would be my preference if it weren't for the tan interior. That being said, I would assume you bought the Badlands for a reason.

If it’s a 2023 Wildtrack with Hoss 3.0 and your not planning to get the interior muddy and rock crawl heavily (not that the Wildtrack can’t it’s not much different less the auto sway bar disconnect) and the fox suspension on the Wildtrack is super plush and takes pot holes and such nicely.

I would avoid the one with hail. You will already have a poor car facts prior to leaving the dealership. I don’t know the exact deduct that adds when you sell, but I would assume 15%.

2023 Wildtrak for sure. HOSS 3.0. The tan interior looks great in person.

I vote for the WT. Even if you don't want the WT, don't take a hail damaged BL.

Not entirely true. Do dealers report all transport damage to carfax? Doubt it.
