It's a mechanical gauge. I tapped in at the factory oil sending unit on the passenger side of the engine just below the head. It's hard to see in this picture. I used this adapter https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08DG6YQM1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1

This picture needs to be rotated 90deg ccw. The oil pressure tubing is actually pointing to the front of the vehicle.

When the engine is warmed up it has 26-28psi at idle. It jumps up from there to around 35psi at cruise RPM of 2,100. At max boost and revved up it climbs to 60+ psi.

Genuine question so please forgive my ignorance, what is the point of these?

If you're in California you can't do this. Nothing can be installed on the dashboard, even if it's pretty low profile.

That's nice. I've been wanting to get something so I can see the oil pressure and coolant temp. The other gauges in the Bronco are nice, but seems like the two important ones should have been included in the digital gauges.

Non raptors have boost, but no oil pressure.
