I am the Bronco Specialist at Kitchener Ford and a big fan and enthusiast of the Bronco and have been apart of this site from July 2020 sharing honest information at the dealer level.

Good to have an "insider". Could you keep us updated on availability of X-plan here in Canada?

My friend and I have reservations on 2 different dealerships in the ottawa region. They were not even aware of the whole xplan cancelation drama in the states.

As of right now, X-Plan is looking like it will NOT be available for the foreseeable future. Ford has not said if it will be offered in the future at all.

Hi I am wondering with the orders you have converted
1 does everyone received confirmation email from Fords in Canada
2 My account on the ford.ca , my reservation changed but says "in-store order"
3 When will it change to "your Oder has been confirmed "
I am just wondering how things work in Canada as things seem different in the U.S.

Great questions, happy to answer!
1. Everyone should have received a confirmation from FOC in January/ Early Feb about your reservation being confirmed. (Attached)
2. This means you have to go in and Order your Bronco. This is basically saying your Reservation is available to be converted to an Order.
3. This won't be happening until we are much closer to production time. I would speculate 2 months from Reservation Conversion deadline.

Things are very different in Canada than they are in the states. I will do my best to update everyone with all info I can and I am allowed to share

Thank you for the information that clears a lot up. I received my email to convert after I placed my order . I have a copy of my order but I was waiting for the confirmation on my Ford.ca account .Thanks again for your information . I think a lot of people are misinformed about what happens after the order is placed.

i used my Xplan pin at my ford dealership. Had no issues what so ever, are you sure your info is up to date?

I have a PIN as well but the dealer has stated no X-Plan allowed. Not much I can do if the dealer won't play ball.

Nothing... and my Ford.ca account still shows 'in-store order 02/18.

With order banks closing today, It is a bit concerning that we have had such a discrepancy in how the orders are being communicated in the USA and Canada. As far as I can tell, I've done everything required with the dealer, spec'd (and re-spec'd post-order), confirmed that the changes were accepted by the ordering system, and have signed the paperwork to order the Bronco.

But... nothing from Ford Canada directly saying that my Bronco has been confirmed, other than 'in-store order'. Just trusting my dealer until something happens.

You have done all the right steps to get things finalized with your dealer. They are the last piece of the puzzle to submitting your order with Ford! I will do my best to update the community with the information I am permitted to share.

Awesome, glad to have your insight as I admit I have been cautiously optimistic given the lack of communication from Ford Canada. Also, this is the first car I've ordered brand-new from the Factory so it's been an interesting experience

I guess we maintain status-quo, and patiently wait some more.

I guess we maintain status-quo, and patiently wait some more.

It has been a tough process with the very little info we get in comparison to the US, thats for sure This is my first time as well, very interesting but also very exciting too!

Status-quo it is for now. Patience will pay off in the end when we are sitting in our new Broncos.

Got my Wildtrak order in on time with Guay's Garage in Val Gagne. Really easy process, looking forward to hearing more from Ford on when I can expect it to be built (and how long I have to start saving up for it)
