Outer Banks Bronco Thread

I have an outer banks, cactus Grey, with 12 inch screen, 2.7, 4 dr, with the roast leather seats. At first I was questioning getting it. The car was ordered but the guy didn't pick it up. The color has grown on me and it helps the wife likes it. The blue accents are great and have even added othe accents from stickerfab. I rely like the side step since I am on the shorter side. I would highly recommend the OB

Cactus Gray really is a nice color, my Bronco Sport OBX was Cactus Gray and like you said my wife really liked it. Thankfully she likes the AMB on my Bronco, said it reminds her of Duke Blue, she graduated from Duke University

I recently saw a non-SAS OBX while driving past my local dealership and pulled in to look at it quick. The tires and height look better than expected in person.

Ya, but when you see the stock OBX wheels and tires side by side with some proper wheels and tires... You can't unsee it.

I agree the tires don’t look bad on their own, the issue is more that there will be a lot of Sasquatch packages out there with much larger tires, making OBX look dwarfed.

The rims and tires weren't too bad. $200/corner for the 295/70R17 Milestar Patagonia M/T's and $230/corner for the RTR Tech 6 rims 17x9 +30.

I'm with Reformed Wrangler, it looks like my wallet is going to take another hit. I like the OBX but never really liked the stock wheels and tires and when you see the side by side you really see what weedy looking tires they are. What do you think of the Milestar Patagonia's? I really like RTR Tech 6 rims but I see they are on backorder.

Meh, doesn’t really bother me. Eventually I’ll probably replace the wheels, but am going to at least run the tires down first.

The Milestar Patagonia M/T's have been a Rockstar choice, they are very adequate on the street (no where as competent as a high performance street tire). They have been fairly predictable under most situations, drive straight and true at 80MPH with minimal effort/input. Off-road, they appear to dig in and pull even without having aired down. They did well today on the sand in Corpus Christi (some of it pretty loose sand), by the way Trail Turn Assist on the beach is amusing.

I found another Bronco on the beach. Also, I did a partial installation of the winch mount, so that I have steel plates, instead of plastic, along with some better recovery points.

Apparently, this was the rare "Shitbox" edition. (see badging).

The way used car prices are going especially Broncos tow it out of there, slap a new wheel on and you probably could sell it for $80k

Yeah, I was confused. The parts look OK. But it looks like the tags expired in 2018 according to the windshield. Pretty funny.

Probably because he hasn't paid them since 2018 (or he's military and exempt from the inspection sticker due to being stationed outside of Texas).
