I liken driving on OB 18" alloys to picking your nose - somewhat satisfying to you, but disgusting to anyone looking at you. Joking aside, for me its form follows function. I'm seeking to balance 90% daily driver with adventure vehicle for park roads/fire roads. Those 32" 70-series A/Ts meet requirements. Not my first choice in the looks department, but will live with it rather than a suboptimized drive or a couple grand that could be better spent elsewhere. My 2 cents.so you identify as a Subaru?
Hello.....mid is standard.Just reserved the 2D Outer Banks, in antimatter blue. I'm definitely planning on the 2.7, but I'm still up in the air between the mid vs high package. Most likely will end up with mid.
These are optional on Outer Banks.YES absolutely agree, really hoping there will be additional options once B&P goes live, because I'll agree with what @wvmtneer said and I'd probably go aftermarket after delivery and use the stock wheels as winters. Could live with them for a time but they're not the most flattering IMO and probably the one part of the look of the new model that I don't like.
I reserved the 2dr OB. The below is what I would prefer to purchase:Who else is on the list for an outer banks?
The wife and I put in for an oxford white 4 door. We plan on getting the 2.7 and the high package. Im a sucker for that huge 12 inch screen.
Oh and of course the modular black hard top roof.
True, that's referring to the tires available for Sasquatch though I believe? I was hoping alternative 18" wheels might be available for an upcharge to be fitted on the standard 32" tires. These are optional on Outer Banks.
Optional
- 17” Black High Gloss-Painted Forged Aluminum with Warm Alloy Beauty Ring, Beadlock Capable Wheels
- 315/70R17 BSW Mud-Terrain (M/T) (35")
There will be plenty of (ugly) Fuel wheels for that.I will be doing <2% off-roading. Give us some 20” wheels, Ford!
I don't see any disclaimer these require anything else, so I'm thinking they are a stand alone option.True, that's referring to the tires available for Sasquatch though I believe? I was hoping alternative 18" wheels might be available for an upcharge to be fitted on the standard 32" tires.
2014 Tremor 20 inch wheels. Those would work for me.I will be doing <2% off-roading. Give us some 20” wheels, Ford!
Good point, fingers crossed that's the case!I don't see any disclaimer these require anything else, so I'm thinking they are a stand alone option.
