Painting Grille

I was looking into the cost of purchasing the WT grille in Black vs. painting, but was informed by parts department they come unpainted. Can anybody confirm this? If this is the case, I have a BL so that would be moot. I’ll just get the one I have painted.

If you had your grille painted, did you have to remove the letters, repurchase and reinstall them?

If you were closer, said grille would be available for sale. Shipping though is rather cumbersome.

Looks real good. I plan on doing something similar when I get mine.
