Questions about painting grille silver

Wow that painted grill surround does look nice. I have the plain all black base grill and feel it needs a bit of spicing up.

Is the dark gray grill color stock? That would be a good match for my Ranger charcoal color wheels and other parts. Maybe I should consider swapping to a gray/charcoal color grill, if the grills are all compatible between trim packages?

It is a painted grey, but really close to the factory BL grille grey.
I used Ford Dark Shadow Grey Metallic codes 28G, 7039, CX, M7039, M7039A, SPWC .
The grilles are all interchangeable, so install as you see fit!
I also darkened up the edges with some transparent black via airbrush where it meets the red to give it the illusion of more depth and definition there as well.
