Beings you are located in Houston, I would guess that you are possibly getting some indirect sunlight/reflection off of something with reflective windows.
I'm going to agree here cause...

That mirror got absolutely blasted with heat. Looks like someone did the propane torch, restore faded black trick, but got carried away. Something focused on it and gave it a distinct line.

I’ve had this happen on two different vehicle and for the life of me couldn’t figure out why until…. I was in my driveway one day and getting fried. One of my upstairs windows reflects the sun in such a tight pattern it will burn you. It’s melted the siding on my house all ripply like your mirror. Took out the mirror in my 2015 Silverado, my wife traverse and the siding before we figured out what it was.

On phone right now w/ Ford Customer Care.
Will upload photos tonight but curious if anyone else is seeing some of these issues.
1. The passenger mirror looks like it's shrinking due to heat. It's literally pulling away from itself and you can see a heat line.
2. The hard top is starting to have ridges surface on corners
3. The hard top is starting to honeycomb

Took delivery in early November. 5k miles.
These issues started appearing within the last 6-8 weeks.

Took to my dealer (very nice) - they took pictures and sent them to the local service lead for the region. They said, oh, must be chemical reaction (to which I haven't done anything to the top/mirrors).

Hi there! I can look into your Bronco's mirror/hardtop concerns on my end. To get started, could you please send a private message over with the name/location of your local Ford dealer and your Bronco's VIN?

Ford has come back and confirmed the repair under warranty. /whew
These threads remind me of the movie, Ford vs Ferrari when the old man shut down the line and told everyone to go home and come up with better solutions. I'm just flabbergasted about the amount of crazy quality issues facing the Bronco. I love my Bronco but YIKES!
