There's a thread on this before orders were being delivered and I tried to revive it, but it keeps getting lost in the shuffle. For those that have taken delivery, how is the perimeter alarm? Is it as the name suggests? If so, is it armed just by locking the doors?

Glad you brought this up ; it has been on my mind. Is perimeter alarm standard? Badlands LUX here.

It's standard across all trims.

I'm afraid it may just be an alarm at access points vs perimeter outside the body of the vehicle.

I've always thought they should make "defensive" houses, but the flame thrower may be a little over the top. :ROFLMAO:

What would be nice is if someone with a Bronco would turn the alarm on, windows down, then started doing thing like walk up the the bronco, try opening the door without the key fob, reach inside, maybe slap the door or something, and eventually open a door.

I think all of our answers could be had.

Of course you need someone to actually answer this post instead of all the ....

I just posted this on the other thread, thought it was important to post here as well simply because it appears for it is misleading (again)...

You know I just looked up that part number, ML3Z-19A361-A, and based on how it explains it, it sounds like a perimeter alarm.

Which means Ford is falsely advertising that all Broncos come with a perimeter alarm If this has to be added after the fact.

Having an engine not start without a key fob is not an alarm system. Does the one that comes with the Bronco even beep when someone opens the door?
