Read a bunch of threads before doing my audio upgrade. Didn't see this mentioned, but may have missed it. Bought my stuff from Crutchfield and they included the Metra 72-5603 "plug and Play" harnesses. When I double checked wiring with the schematic (B&O), the wires are reversed. Meaning, the wire with the larger slide-on (usually for positive terminal) connects to the Ford wire that is Negative. I ended up snipping off the ends and soldering them to the speaker terminals in correct order. The Metra 72-5602 harnesses (for the Kick panel speakers) is correct though.
