At the high end of a budget, you can get HOWL Camp Fires.

If you want something more budget friendly, there are many that make an ammo canister fire pit. The original LavaBox isn't that much money.

Should specify if you're looking for wood burning or propane.

I love my Ignik for propane and use it exclusively on all my solo trips.

It makes less flame than a lavabox but that means the propane lasts longer and it can be used under awnings and annexes, which is what I do with the lovely AK weather.

I have the Tembo Tusk and I like it more than I expected. It is pricy but worth it in my opinion. I like to use it at camp in the mornings rather than a wood fire that requires complete extinguishment and baby sitting. Its an easy way to enjoy a fire in the morning then hit the road or go for a hike and not worry about extinguishment.. I use the 10lb ignik propane tank with. The flame size gets really big if you turn the regulator wide open. The pit breaks down really small.

I frankly can't believe the price of these things. I have a Outland Living brand from Amazon, about $130, love it.

I like the idea of the ammo box one to fit in the Bronco, but prices are just stupid, I'd go diy on that.

I’m a big fan of the Solo fire pits - but you do have to babysit it. I could see the benefit of the propane versions….

People not using these keeps me in business. In NM we almost always have such heavy fire restrictions that I basically had to buy a propane one. It sucks that so many people can't be bothered to police their fires, and the rest of us lose out on one of the best parts of camping.
