Why the huge difference between the Molded Top ($700) and the Molded and Soft Top ($3700)? How can the soft top add $3k??

Something seems wrong here. Who is going to pay $3k for a soft top? A while back, there was discussion on tops and as I recall, there are 4 pc and 6 pc modular tops. The 4 pc having 2 removable panels over the front seats and a large single panel over the rear seats and the back shell. The 6 pc adds the removable windows.

Basing this off pricing i’m seeing, the Outer Banks is going to be $2,470 more then the big bend with the mid package and the 10 speed automatic transmission.

So that $2,470 buys you:

LED signature lights
18” rims
Body Color handles and flares
Tube steps

I can’t justify the value there?

Also OB has heated front seats , LED front and back light are different, high end dash, painted mirrors and dual zone air. Don't discount that the interior may be an upgrade from BB.

so I'll end up at about 56k if I stick with just the soft top, which I think I will do for now, easier to go full open and no panels to deal with. And storing one or the other will be tricky in my cramped garage. Pretty much the price I expected to see. 4d Badlands, Sasquatch, Lux, tow package.
Lux at 5k is a bit more than I expected, but I want the better sound system or I'll hate myself :-D
I'll have to find out a bit more about the tow package, got that from 3rd party for my Tacoma for a lot less, but I want it tied in nicely. Is there more than just the hitch and some wiring included?

If pricing holds, this pretty much settled it for us. 4dr Badlands, 2.3, auto, standard 33AT wheel/tire setup and the Lux package. Things like the tow package, tops etc will be later decisions but those are all minor.
