so does this look anything like the Ranger? can anyone tell?

Looks similar. One thing that has me hopeful is the Ranger has a big fan shroud, its got a mechanical fan and that's one thing that really bugs me on Ranger. I'm hoping Bronco has an electric fan, even my kids commented on the first Ranger we drove on a cold day "why's it sound like a semi?", once it warms up or on normal days its not bad, but the fan/clutch on Rangers is noisy on a cold start/cold weather.

It is so interesting how people are upset by these pics of a preproduction unit. I was getting a little bored from the lack of news and these came about. I for one am glad Ford is testing the crap out of these units. I fully expect fit and finish to be much better. How hard is it to understand preproduction?
I for one appreciate you sharing these... and understand what Ford is doing right now.

Testing is necessary for a number of reasons!

Doesn’t that 12” Navi look a bit out of place in that interior??

I think the smaller screen goes better with the character of the Bronco.

This is obviously a pre-prod vehicle. I don't think anyone will be receiving a Bronco like this. It is normal to drive it aggressively with temporary seats, tech, etc. It's all about simulating the weight to stress test everything and artificially create wear & tear. I worked at a very large tech company and six months before mass production we always tested hundreds of devices with employees and their family members with specific diagnostics reporting back. We had a saying "five years in five months" for the results we needed. That being said, don't fret the Bronco you get will definitely be in better shape.

Am I seeing some kind of detachable thing there at the front of the rear seats?

I hope so as the rear seats will be the first thing to go when I get my Bronco. I want the whole back including trunk to be modular so I can fit a fridge and some other stuff in the back.

Like others have said Ford obviously never intended for this interior to see the light of day and be photographed this closely, so I don’t understand the freak out either. The guy that originally took the pics said this didn’t even come off the assembly line. It’s a PRE PRE-production, the final fit and finish will undoubtedly be much better. We can’t take anything from these pics on how the seats will look five years from now ?‍♂

Thanks for the pictures. The interior looks like crap though. Looks cheap and didn’t hold up well during the testing. Hopefully this is not close to the final product. I really want to like the new Bronco. C’mon Ford, show us something to build confidence in it.

That just looks complicated... my Raptor engine bay is way cleaner. Surprisingly clean, but too bad so much extra goes into those EcoBoosts. ??‍♂
