I think the number of buyers dropping out due to Dirt Mountain is going to be far smaller than the number dropping out because:
- They aren't patient enough
- They aren't in financial position to take delivery
- They reserved/ordered the vehicle impulsively and have ten other cars reserved that they don't seriously intend to purchase either
This is far more likely. Nobody outside of this forum cares about nonsense like “dirt mountain” “bad batch” and “lot rot”

Why would they make a complete and viable build sit at dirt mountain for no reason? If it Has the new top, they will ship it.
The reason I was thinking was so that they would keep their word that the ones already out and built would get fixed first before any new MIC builds

Time to start studying up on the next fun... Tracking a rail shipment.
Mine too Scott. My dearest has always been cool about my vehicles. She knew I was an old gear head going into the marriage. I don't say much about the Bronco anymore, because I didn't want to annoy her. But, like your's lately she has been asking if there's anything new on our order. I think she's getting a bit excited about it, and even OK'ed a new set of wheels/tires the other day. I'll say it, I'm quite a lucky man.(y)
My wife has been cool to, but she is as much of a gear head as I am, not this year but we usually spend our anniversary at the Pigeon Forge Rod Run.

MIC Top 2.0? What does it matter when a second day reservation holder can't get his f-ing Bronco even 15 months later.????
WUUT?? They've been producing Broncos for 15 months???
Now I'm pissed too!
Yet another lie from Ford.

You can 99 a First Edition?? You sure about that. I always thought that the system would not even register that as a eligible build for 2022
Nope you can 99 them. You have to reselect another trim when you go to order. I think the FE # is around 4500 or less. Lots of people backed out once they realized it isn’t that special. Only reason I kept mine was for the black interior with white stitching.

99 does not mean hold for 2022, it just means do not build ..(of course this close to the end of the my) ... if they 99'd an FE reservation and it slips into 2022 they will be forced to pick a new model.... Badlands, Wildtrak, Heritage, what-have-you.

There’s nothing to tell them, they’re all nonissues people here made up to amuse themselves 😂 People concerned about Broncos parked on dirt should check out where airlines parked billions of dollars of aircraft when not in use

Is this the same v2.0 that should give the “22 MIC roof a higher load rating?

It's going to be very interesting to watch what these additional Broncos do to the market place. There should be 1,200 to 2,000 looking for new homes. The initial few might get a large markup - but by December, I don't see these MY21 selling for over MSRP - even here in LA.
you say that but a lot of dealers are putting mark ups and adm on Civic Type R's which have been out for almost 2 years.
