Price Increase on Bronco Raptor, Heritage Edition, Heritage Limited Effective April 10, 2023

It’s a mix of wages, payroll, taxes, parts, and Ford is a business (not a charity).

Part of it is the cost of all the f’n warranty claims. All the future owners will pay for all those warrsnty claims for the first three mod years. I’ve been holding out to buy a Bronco once the “hype” goes down. That won’t happen now, they have priced away my interest in buying one.

Braptor price will soon match what I paid for mine! And that's with a minimal ADM I paid back in November....all the sudden I am not looking that bad for paying what I did! Still, not one regret yet!!

Might as well get a F150 Raptor R. That Supercharged V8 is a MUCH better engine. Then again, those have ADM as well.... well most not all.

Eventually Ford will price the Bronco out of range for a lot more people and a correction will be needed. They are doing these price hikes to bank roll EV. Elon will make them pay as he has luxury of a great margin on every single car they sale and no demonic association with

The rate of inflation may be trending down. Inflation is still at a very high rate.

Well, hopefully the insane pricing on the top 3 doesn’t cause them to lose their market share in as little as 5 yrs. Even I started to consider a tundra with their lower price points and factory is only 2 miles away from my home and that’s something I never thought possible.

Feeling very stupid not trying to order one at $71k. Not sure I could ever order one now knowing I was just getting hosed for $10k.
Bigger picture I imagine sales projections are taking a big dip and they’re pricing in the correction on their most desirable models. I’m telling you…wait till Oct-Dec and these dealerships are going to be begging you to buy.

It's not "inflation" on those models, it's just econ 101 - supply vs. demand. They can charge as much as the market will bear. And in a capitalist economy, it is their duty to the shareholders to do so...

I believe Jim Farley himself said that - why should people other that Ford be making those additional monies from the Broncos, Lightnings, etc. If people are willing to pay those higher prices for our cars, WE should be making those additional monies.
In other words, if people are WILLING to pay $100K plus for a Braptor........... then Ford should be charging that.
I "believe" I saw a video where Jim said something along those lines?
