I decided to remove the leather seats and go with Marine Grade Vinyl and switch from Automatic to Manual Transmission. My salesman told me I could switch out the seats but "any change to the trim level or transmission would eliminate my Price Protection as this changes to body type ordered". I have seen other posts where people have made more substantive changes and stated that they did not get such a penalty. While Ford Customer Service is nice they had no clue as to what I was asking. Any advice or experience the 6G community could share? thank you, j

The answers you need are on this link and official.

https://www.ford.com/support/how-to...servation or an Order Prior to March 19, 2021

Who qualifies for the Bronco Price Protection Program?
If you placed an order or reservation prior to March 19, 2021, you qualify for price protection. If you are not part of this program, make sure your order in the system is accurate, as changing your series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system after March 7, 2022, may result in increased vehicle prices. See below for more detail.
What qualifies as a series, equipment package, number of doors, or 4x4 system change?
An example of a series change would be going from Badlands™ to Big Bend™. An equipment package refers to base, mid, high, or lux package. A door change would mean going from a four-door to two-door and vice versa. A 4x4 system change means changing the standard 4x4 system to or from the advanced 4x4 system.

This does not answer my question as it relates to who qualifies for Price Protection not what changes can or cannot be made and remain under Retail Price Protection.

If you were a Badlands with auto/leather you had the mid package as a required option. When dropping to MT make sure you still had the mid package at that point you should be okay.

My dealer simply said they don't know what I'm talking about when I gave them the printed info on Price Protection. Imagine they planned to keep it all along and played stupid with me.

Yep, Wasilla.
Sounds about in line with what I've heard.

I saw a 2DR Velocity Blue on a truck headed your way on the Glenn this morning.
