Hi,
After getting the Hoel harness, I started installing my 4-channel amp. After making sure everying was properly connected and checking power with a multimeter, I turned on the stereo and only get sound from the factory sub. The power light on the amp doesn't come on and the red light to the left blinks once when I start the car.

I talked to Crutchfield and they claim I probably need to connect the blue remote wire to an accessory switch to turn on the amp. I know that can't be right because people seem to be using the feed from the speakers to prompt the amp to turn on. The Auto On switch is set to DC and all other switches are set on "on".

I think the problem is either an incorrect setting on the amp or it's just defective. I doubt it's the wiring harness. Any suggestions?

I’m probably not much help but thinking the compression and bi-amp switches should actually be set to off. We did an install on a friend’s bronco and I want to say the default settings were all switches in the up position. Getting a solid, consistent 12v at the amp with a meter you said right?

worst case maybe the post/bump will get someone smarter to chime in.

To clarify, first switch was “down” to DC and all others were “up”

Correct. I tried tying in the blue remote wire to the hot wire from the battery and got nothing. I am thinking it's the amp.
