PSA: How to fold soft top to avoid rubbing / contact damage

I was frantically searching for this post as i remember reading it last night. i thought i was folding the soft top back properly but after filling the tank this morning i noticed a little bit of wear on the driver's side. Sure enough its on the passenger side as well.

I'm supposed to just make sure the frame is on the INSIDE of the fabric and the fabric is on the outside?

Correct, manually retract the canvas so the leading edge has a winding snake-like appearance. I sent you some photos. I hope this helps.

Related to soft top closing - When raising the top from fully back to the “mid way point”, do you guys/gals find it’s difficult to ensure it’s latched here? I had to give it some “oomph” but curious if I’m doing something wrong or if that’s the case for you too?
