Since each order is customized we do request that buyers do research prior to ordering. Due to the customization of these units, returns will only be accepted up to 30 days from receiving the RAKET system. There will be a $700 restocking fee for returned orders. Return shipment will be at the buyers expense.

I get that concern and maybe we shift that way. Just being upfront before someone misunderstands. If anyone has any questions before purchasing, I’m more than willing to go over it.

Considering this system will offer 3 basket options, we’re looking to save clients from shipping costs if they decide to make a switch. Thanks for the input.

8-22-2022 Update

-We’re finalizing several design factors to challenge the 800 lb capacity.
-This is a simple rack system that will be highly customizable by owners, but the build is meant to do the job.
-We came across a really cool concept which (I believe) will make everyone happy.
-We will be featured on an upcoming Bronco build (coming soon).
-Our “Early Intention List” now has 26

I’m excited for the progress but so many things go into developing a strong “base” product.

**Quick Update…we’re shooting for mid-September to begin accepting orders. Thank you to everyone who’s joined our “early intention list”. We’re up to 46 (so far) and e-mail updates are coming soon. We’ve been invited to on a SEMA build that will be feature in Central Hall Nov.1-4. Stay tuned for the final look.

Here’s a mock-up of how the system should look on either a soft top…or no top.

It'll be taller since we have to consider the soft-top design (which sits higher than the windshield frame). The last thing we want is to cause any damage to the soft-top. Once the prototype is built we may decrease the space. Thanks for the input.

You bet. Some of the early prototype sketches had it a little lower and it looked much better.

yeah with the top on, the brace system on the soft-top bows up. Once we check the load capacities we’ll look to shrink that gap.

9-3-22 Update: Thanks for everyone being patient with this process. Crazy to think we started in June. Here’s where we stand (so far) and what to expect. Don’t hesitate to ask questions along the way. Here we go…

-Approximate Price Range: $2,400-$2,800
-Complete system is 100% Aluminum (excluding fasteners)
-Removable Basket (48”x72”) will weigh approximately 54 LBS.
-Removable Tower (rear mount assembly) will weigh approximately 60 LBS.
-Accessory “Light” plate included: (48”x3”) pre-drilled for multiple options.
-Two (2) Universal accessory rack crossbars included (48” each).
-Black Powder-coat included.
-Complete system is Fabricated/Materials Sourced/Made in the U.S.

We’re looking at an October 1st launch. I hate the concept of delaying product delivery so if we run into ANY supply/material delays, RAKET will suspend ordering capabilities. I’m not a fan of paying for something without a solid delivery date. Have a great Labor Day weekend.

Here’s a few, but it’s an unfinished basket and front mounting bracket. This prototype was created to mainly test rigidity and load capacity. There will (already) be changes to the height and final product. More pictures and updates to come over the next 2 weeks. Thanks.

10-31-22 Quick update

I’m doing a “camping” photo shoot this afternoon, but we’ll have position photos tomorrow. We’ll provide a breakdown tomorrow and (hopefully) an installation video today. Here’s a few pictures and keys:

-Front assembly is a combination of light mount, cowling, and a patented front slide rail.

-The basket is held on by 4 bolts which keeps it tight and vibration free. There’s 4 holes on each side to allow reversible use as a flat side or basket.

-The rear tower assembly is compiled of the rear slide rail, a platform

-The “vertical” portion comes equipped with a molle panel on both sides. These are bolted down to the side mounting brackets via 6 total hex bolts

-As you can see the rear door fully opens but it is tight. If you have an ex-lift system I’ve heard it raises it more than typical.
