This is Raptor competitor rather than Bronco competitor, but Ram looks to be trying to steal some thunder from Ford with the reveal of the Ram TRX scheduled for tomorrow at noon, the day before the first press reviews of Bronco riding/driving impressions.

If you haven't heard, the TRX is a Ram 1500 in high speed off road form, with (possibly) two different versions, one with the Hemi 392 and the other with the Hellcat engine.

So far, it didn't look like any crazy roads or surfaces that a Jeep Compass couldn't take.

Did the person who wrote the script try at all?

Ram is trash, I had to have 3 new 1500s as loaners one time, each one threw a check engine light and they were NEW. Rams IMO have always 'looked' good from the outside but their interior is trash and they are always playing catch up with the drive train.

Maybe that'll force Ford to confirm the Raptor version of the GT500 Predator V8 (Behemoth? I can't remember the name)

Ehhhh. The new ones have arguably the nicest interior across the segment. That being said, the Hemi tick is real, coming from a 5.7L owner. I had the camshaft and lifters replaced under warranty at 36k miles on my Charger.

Before my Charger, I had a Ram 1500 and it had the tick at 21k milles but I had no idea what it was at the time. This issue is common in the 5.7L but not in the 6.4L, 6.2L,and definitely not the 6.7L Cummins.

Additionally, the ZF 8 speed is the best transmission I’ve ever driven other than the PDK in Porsche. You dont even feel shifts under normal driving. I will miss it going to Fords 10 speed but hopefully it’s not too much of a noticeable difference.

That will be a beast with the hell cat engine.
Raptors will be picking sand out of the front grills trying to catch it

It's a Chrysler. Just like the Jeep of the new age... Terrible reliability.
