I've been wanting to do both of these lighting mods since getting my Bronco. Since we have 6 months of snow and ice fog often I've wanted a rear fog light for low visibility situations. Just recently there was a 37 car pileup due to ice fog with temps below zero, so any chance of being seen rather than rear ended is welcome.

Additionally, I try to have strobe lights on all my vehicles as I try to stop and help people stuck in the ditch some other type of road hazard, any extra visibility is vital to warning oncoming traffic.

I ordered upfitter switches with all of this in mind, I now have 5 of the 6 switches taken. I ran 3 wire cord from the firewall back.

I actually added my lights for a similar purpose, when stopping to help others. I did add them as chase lights too, but they serve dual purpose. They've served well in helping a few folks, some in very low visibility (dense fog on a busy highway).

Let's have a rave!

Can you provide photos of the mounting, also, what lights did you use?

Can you comment on why you mounted the strobes low vs high up? I was thinking of the same thing but putting them on my roof rack. Id like to be able to use them as “zone lighting” while camping too.

I can take some, they are just screwed into the plastic bumper.

Part number for the Strobes is in the original post, the red lights were just cheap Amazon Rock lights.

Sure, factory Red fogs on most German vehicles and the Bronco for Export keep them low, seems to work well.

The Strobes are mounted low because there was basically no other place, summer time when I run topless and wanted to still have them if need be. I swap between summer and winter wheels and the factory Sasquatch wheels don't have a very large opening, so down low was forced. If I ever upgrade to a aftermarket rear bumper I may move them out to the ends. I have rear facing white lights in the spare tire for rear visibility when needed.

Well, I was not planning on strobing the Bronco like my LWN, but I like the idea.

Nice man!!! Those fronts though wont be legal here in Las Vegas. Im sure in blizzard conditions that really helps in Alaska. I have the same front grill - which lights did you use? Do you have a link?

I definitely want the rear fog... And my last Bronco had the F150 Euro switch bought for it.
I think there are legalities to having strobes on your vehicle here though.

They're Baja Designs S1 pods I believe. Just used the brackets they came with - It worked out great!

Did you wire them to the aux? If so, which?

They're wired to the AUX 6 switch - More of a mental thing for me (even though my switches are labeled too) - Last switch = Lights at the rear of the vehicle 😁
