Those who have the factory rock rails and the RekGen flaps, can you measure and post how many inches the bottom of the flap comes below the bottom of the rock rail?

can you post a pic?
The Weathertech thread and website have much better pics than I do.

Dont be swayed by the pics. They are better looking in person, and work great. $80 bucks for a full set, no drill, easy install.

I went with and ordered a set of the RekGen trophy sport flaps for the front ($90) after giving up on and sending back the Rokblokz flaps. Those Rokblokz things things were an expensive mess.

The fronts work great in my opinion. Ordering the rears today to stop the rocks and mud from hitting my camper. Has anyone installed the rears and do you have to remove the tire?

Just got the rek gen trophy sport flaps but it didn't come with any instructions. I was able to figure out the front flaps, which was no drill install. I do wish they were a little longer. I think I still get spray but will not know for sure till they've been on some muddy roads. I couldn't figure out how to get the rear ones on without drilling. Can anybody enlighten me on where they attach without drilling?

They just released extra long front flaps, but no info on their site regarding how much longer than stock

I just ordered these yesterday. The sales rep through email suggested that I get the longer fronts due to having the Outerbanks running boards. He did verify that they would work with our sqatch. I ordered fronts and rears. I will post pics as soon as they show and get installed.

As a side note...he did tell me to use the code HERO at checkout. It took $25 off. If that is not working for you I would just ask them through email if they have any codes to use.

I called RekGen's support line and he told me the the front XLs are 4" longer than the Standard size. Standard are a total of 14.5" and XL are 18.5". Don't where he measured from but assume longest vertical points.

I have those same side steps. Good to know they fit.

Got my RekGen front flaps (standard) and installed them. Really like them, even though I'm not a fan of mud flaps (but no choice). They are not stupid long; a solid length from a visual standpoint, which helps them blend in a little better. Will have to see how they perform. They fit nicely and very easy to install. From a materials standpoint, they seem very well made. Solid strength, pretty thick but some flexibility. Hardware is good quality. I see no impediment to modifying the attachment hardware to allow quick temporary removal for off road (will be working on that solution next week). Wish I ordered these originally instead of the other brand.

I just installed the Rek Gen Trophy Sport XL length mud flaps. Little longer than the standard ones but not too long at all. I really like the way they look and the added length should help block rocks these tires throw at the side panels. Once they release rear mud flaps for the badlands steel bumper, Iā€™ll buy those as well! Highly recommend.

In some pics, they look perfect. In others, they seem a tad long (Ā”OlĆ©!):ROFLMAO:

Iā€™m just playing aroundā€¦. I have the regular Trophy flaps coming tomorrow. If they donā€™t do the job though, Iā€™ll just buy the XLs and call it good, as I do believe these are the best-looking and most durable. Even removing them for crawling, while not as quick as the RBs, wouldnā€™t take terribly much longer.

I also bought the Rekgen Trophy Sports for my Bronco. The rear flaps are almost as easy to install as the front flaps with the instructions. I took a pic for you, but apologies for the bad lighting. Let me know if you have trouble reading these or have any questions.

These mud flaps are working great, great quality, and look really good too! Super happy with them!

haha yeah depending on the angle they look a bit long. I like the look of the regular length more but right now Iā€™m more concerned with protecting the side panels. I already got a pretty good gash from a rock that was thrown at the door from the tires so after that I decided long mud flaps were the way to go.

I get itā€™s a Bronco and should get dirty and bla bla bla whateverā€¦ dirty is one thing. Chipped door paint is another.

The rekgens look great but has anyone had an success installing the ford molded plastic ones w a ford step (OBX)? Just trying to be a little bit more economical.
