When my Bronco Heritage arrived, it had these clips on the rear windows, they don't look like permanent items to me. Should I remove these, I haven't seem them on other hard tops?

I had these also, the dealer said "They are spacers for the hardtop, we usually leave them on"

Seems like dealer-speak for "We forgot to remove them during PDI"

I removed them, they looked stupid.

Did anyone have a video of the removal? I picked up another Bronco last Friday night and the clips were still on. They were closing up and I am supposed to bring it by this week to have them remove them as they should have during PDI.

If there is zero risk for me to cause damage I may just try myself but I didn’t want to scratch or harm the patient top.

I feel dumb but did you use any tool or just pull? I stopped as soon as I felt resistance.

thanks

Mine just pulled off with a little pressure, I doubt there is much risk. A couple left a little reside from the adhesive pad, just scraped right off with a plastic scraper.

Thanks. I feel like such a moron. I was just able to get them out with a little wiggle and pull and then a small cleanup of the adhesive.

no reason to feel like a Moron, they sure look like something left on for a purpose when you first see them, I wasn't sure either at first!
