Thanks for the info, I gotta say this Torx size is driving me crazy on the Bronco. The steel front bumper uses TP40 bits and now you tell me the wheels use a regular T45 bit. I wish Ford had used some consistency on the Bronco all over.
I haven't looked at the bumper yet. I'll keep that in mind...

Mine all came off fine by hand as well with zero issues. I however opTed to just go sans rings and think it looks great.

Funny observation. I entertained that idea since mine were black underneath and the wildtrak's were silv🤔

Mine all came out fine too. Cracked by hand with a ratchet and then zipped out with a 1/4"' impact. I could swear I used a TP45 though.
So your comment had me wondering. I took some pics of the front bumper, tailgate hinge and beauty ring bolts. After closer inspection, I can see the difference between the Torx and the Torx Plus.
Very frustrating though. The torx Plus fasteners have a wider recess around the outer perimeter.

Be careful with those bumper bolts. I torqued them to factory specs and stripped one of the riv-nuts

Nope. I only use that crap on my brakes. It ends up all over the place.
I rarely use it unless needed on parts that get super hot.
Just first 3 threads ,stainless bolt going into aluminum ,water and road salt could conspire to ruin your day next time you take them off.

No. That would have required a trip to a tire shop as one set did not have tires.
I kind of figured it might be something like that.

On a slightly different note, back in '19 I had a rubicon and my buddy had a sahara. He went and bought Rubicon wheels, but I had white lettering which he couldn't stand and he had black. I never went through with it, but several times considered swapping our wheels while at the mountain bike park or something and seeing how long it took him to notice that he had white lettering ;)

Remember to lower torque values by 25% when using anti-seize

Thank you. I like the aggressive look of the tint more than anything but I'm not overly impressed with the installation but it was only 300 for ceramic so.........I'm not going to have it redone nor am I going to remove it
Most “tinters” are real hacks these days, I had the same experience using the dealer, good from far, far from good. I paid over twice as much including windshield at 50%, rest 15%.
