[Renders] Retro Striping on Cactus Gray 2 Door

I decided to try my hand with some visuals to help narrow down how I’m going to personally get my cactus gray rig to pop with a colorful retro-graphic. I figured I would my share my renderings as I progress through ideas and maybe they will help inspire your own rig design. I’m open to help with others ideas also. I’m not the most skilled, but love to design, and obviously love designing around the Bronco.

*This was my first attempt using photoshop on my iPad so be gentle.​

I really like the design and placement ..but the colors just don't do it for me over the Cactus ...IMO
I would try with some red and black shades

Thanks for the feedback, it’s tough to find the colors that look good in all the different hues CG tosses out there. I like your idea, I’m going to try it next!

draws the eye down to the least interesting bits of the design. Doesn't work as an homage to the past or to highlight the present. Like an ultra wide door protector, except the stripe will get all the cuts and abuse from other doors, look chewed up in short order. Hard Pass.

I also have a cactus 2 door and have been playing with stripe ideas. I hadn't thought about putting the Bronco logo on the door...now you have me thinking.

First idea is this cool multi-stripe run along the side of the Bronco, accented with a white classic bronco logo.
This the first color combo I’ve seen that even slightly settles well on top of the cactus color to my eye. *This was my first attempt using photoshop on my iPad so be gentle.

You got the same build as me mine is being built the week of 11/22 I got the gear America front tow shackles in blue coming today I ordered for it

I agree with you on the chewed-up portion, but I sort of imagined drawing your eye to the least interesting part was the purpose of the graphic. To make that which is not interesting, well, more interesting? Great feedback though, I’ll play with placement for us who wish to really ride!!!

I like it but think those colors would work better on a BL. Maybe the same style but in a blue/gray color scheme that better matches the interior accents and BD badging?
