Easier to break than I would expect. One of the little prongs on the opposite side that holds it in broke on me. Any of the plastic clips have the possibility of being broken. Or, maybe I'm just not gentle enough.
I wouldn’t remove one of the rear quarter panels without having some on hand. I broke one on both sides and I was very careful with proper diagrams and trim tools.
I think your right, I ordered that part # but haven’t gotten them in yet. They show as the Bronco as being the only vehicle they are used in, so of course they are slow to be available. At first I ordered the other clip on the parts diagram, W718240-S300, but those are the orange one piece that are also on the panel. Those should be hard to break.
Tried those. They are too big and one piece, not two piece.These look closer... but not exactly the same.
In the old days, we called these Door Trim Dog House Pins
I'm guessing that rubber ring on the pin is for preventing squeak and rattle. Good luck with it.
