Aux 2 is probably not the best choice, aux 1 is a 30amp and aux 2 is a 15amp, everything else is 10amp. So you're kind of wasting potential amperage and if you ever wire anything higher than 10 amps you'll have to move your lights to a different switch. Not a difficult thing to do, more of a slight inconvenience. I ran into this conundrum when wiring my ditch lights, went with aux 6 on those because it's on the end and easy to hit without looking.

I purchased the rigid 6 light set in preparation of my arrival next month... I am not that experienced with rock lights but you can definitely wire them up... The set basically takes all leads into a central positive post that you mount in the engine bay and then connect that to the battery and another terminal post that is grounded. You can easily wire the Aux switch to the post. Also, I don't recall the exact amp load but it is crazy low.

Just be sure to stop them before they drill a hole in the dash and mount a pointless and ugly switch. you can wire it yourself if they are incompetent with the wiring.
For sure! I was blown away when the service manager told me that

I've been back and forth on getting these, any chance you could throw up a few pics? Worried about correct positioning.
They’re pretty much located in the back dead center above the tire.

Awesome! Thanks for the heads up! I gotta be honest I am pretty un- educated when it comes to lighting and wiring. It’s just never been my thing but I’m wanting to Learn and understand it as well as make my bronco perform to the max potential! All you guys are awesome e

I’m already using aux 1 for the pod lights which is why I used aux 2 for the rock lights. :)

Which is perfectly fine, but if you ever decide to wire something with more draw you'll need yo move those lights to a different switch. An inconvenience but not the end of the world.

Also, not a huge risk in this particular situation, but I almost burned down my shop one day during snowpocalypse when I overpowered an outlet that was the only thing being run at the time by a 30amp breaker, everything else was off. The breaker had no issues handling 2 water trough heaters... the outlet was not pleased. So ever since then I try to match things up so a breaker or fuse will fail long before any damage is done.

Help to see around you for rocks and other obstacles if off-roading at night. Also when you get into camp makes it easier to see when setting up. Also look cool.

Are these the lights that cost $171 / pair? Seems a bit steep for the average blue collar worker.
