Moving on from that... Anything AWD out there beside the Crosstrek that looks interesting? I'd jump at a plug in renegade, but the Wrangler 4e just doesn't appeal.

Gas mileage is only a part of the equation, I put on less than 5k miles a year... But I'd like something that can navigate these rural western Minnesota roads next winter. The plan is a Bronco, but who knows if I'll see it before then.

Unless you had a BEV or plug-in hybrid before C19 hit, it's too late. Vehicles cost too much so there's no scenario were you come out ahead getting one now.

When me and the wife met she had a little Toyota Celica. We got engaged and she got her first SUV. She has never looked back. Her latest purchase a 21 expodition factory 2 inch lift with 35 inch tires she loves it. Gas today is about 5 dollars a gallon by us she don't care. If you are worried about gas prices never look at a car that has 4wd, AWD, V8, or SUV in it's title. You will be filling up frequently. Her favorite thing to tell people when they ask her why do have such a big truck. Her answer of course at my expense is well my husband has a small dick so I like to ride in something big every once in a while. I just look at her smile and shake my head. It always gets a good laugh. But we never worry about gas prices. And this is America we are ICE for life.

Test drive a Porsche Taycan Turbo. While it was an impressive vehicle, I just can’t get behind the electric. I’m working my dealer for a GT3 allocation instead.

LOL the guy with the Ukrainian flag.

Putin much? Sounds like him.
Careful, now you're just showing your ignorance. Try to remember this old saying, "Better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth, and remove all doubt".

You miss spelled working my ass off, but oh so very close.
Nobody normal, who actually "works their ass off" is proud to brag about spending 20 grand a year to fuel their vehicle.

Try again.

Recently got a Maverick with the Ecoboost and have a Bronco 2dr on the way. Would have bought the hybrid Mav but no AWD or 4K tow on the hybrid.

I imagine gas prices are killing guys with huge tires. There seems to be some very wealthy individuals on this forum. I’m not in that camp.

Seriously considering selling the Mav and trying to get some kind of hybrid AWD for DD and keeping the Bronco for the cottage.
I refuse to be strong-armed into getting an EV which is what is happening.

I've got a Maverick Hybrid coming that has a 4/11 production date, we shall see. If I average out the MPG between the Maverick and the Bronco it won't seem that bad. :)
