I haven't installed the UCA's yet, no problems so far. But I am putting them in tomorrow.
Hey did you manage to get those UCAs up in there?

No I did not. I ended up installing the rear bumper instead.
Nice, you're not wasting any time! Love the build that's happening here!

I guess I'll answer, LOL I installed the 3"/2.25" RPG collars on my HOSS 3.0 shocks last Saturday. Super easy install. Took me and my fellow tech (we are dealer techs with all the cool tools) 2.5 hours at the most.
Before shoulder surgery (July) I tried installing them, starting with the front.... not as simple as I thought... I've haven't done front end work before hesitant on loosening things... I took a step back to think my process (YouTube videos),.... I'm still thinking a month later, the shoulder is moving again, just not in all directions... Nah, I need to get 'err done... I think the rears should be easy, the fronts are the pain.

I'll check it your build...

Took me and my fellow tech (we are dealer techs with all the cool tools) 2.5 hours at the most. We also installed 37" Yokohamas with Battle Born Wheels and a Lobo HNT front bumper. I have yet to align it as I have some RPG upper control arms to install still.

Maybe a stupid question. I'm finally upgrading from my Titan Swap Xterra. Looking to make a BadTrak with the disconnecting sway in plans. Have the Hos 3.0 and am looking at the perch lift. Why can't these collars be installed without coil removal? Like was done on this thread? https://www.fordraptorforum.com/threads/rpg-2-25-perch-collar-installed.61323/

Thanks for any expertise to a newb.

When we installed mine we never removed the coils, just compressed them enough to swap the collars. We did remove all four shocks from the Bronco. The rears would be simple to do still installed in the vehicle with spring compressors, the front is kind of tight.

Yeah I looked at that when I did mine. Just didn’t see enough room on the fronts to really get the compressors on the springs while still installed under the Bronco. But admit I didn’t actually try it. Just didn’t look safe to me. So I bit the bullet and pulled them off. Little time consuming. But the 2nd side does go a lot faster once you know exactly what you’re doing.

Rears you probably could do without removing. But the rears are SUPER EASY and fast to remove so I don’t really see much of a savings there. Think I had maybe half hour - 45 mins into putting these on the rear. It’s really just that easy.
