Has anyone else had an issue with the rubber breaking/tearing from the window controls? I just noticed mine, and a complete bottom section came off the driver's control. Half of the passenger is now missing. If anyone has removed the center console, I'm wondering if it's an easy fix.

Might want to take it easy on all the "wow that is so cheap talk" going on in this thread. Ford does have a bit of a presence on this forum, and if they get wind of users thinking a particular part is too cheap, they will take action. LOL.

Same just happened to mine! Ordered the replacement from Tasca. Going to replace then repair my original with some silicone glue for potential future use

Same thing happened to me this morning! Ford is going to have to figure this out (just add it to their list) because it's going to get really irritating if we are having to swap these out every year or so!

My 2021 Basesquatch I have this issue. Its from normal use wear and tear. Don't bother me leaving it alone.

At first I thought about it, but didn't want to worry about them denying it after having it for a week. Plus both times I had them do the front diff leak, it took over 2 weeks. I just looked the part up online and it's $25. I could probably have it done well before the dealership.
Amazing that the single plastic (no clips! Another $8) rear license plate holder for the mod bumper was $80, yet this whole unit is $25. I think the latter is more right. The license plate holder should've been $15. It's not like it's ballistic plastic (I can attest to that).

It was $28 for the entire unit so I just used some of my 300k pass points and it will be here next week. Easier than dealing with the dealership. Still surprise it was so cheap.
lol, that’s why these are falling apart-cheap

I’m having the exact same issue - it started just a few months after purchase. Wondered if there could be a recall or other explanation. Thanks for posting so we know we’re not alone.
