I have used this product for many years on door / window seals etc.
When I had the front lids ( roof panel) off my Bronco yesterday I used the product
before replacing them.
Excellent . Helps protect from many of the elements.

Pretty good stuff. Can be a little shiny/greasy if you don't wipe back over it.
I like the 303 protectant.

I have both and prefer the 303. I use it on all black trim on the Bronco- fender flares, front fascia, rear bumper and the top. So far so good in the super hot FL sun. But the Bronco is parked int he shade whenever possible and garaged too. I apply it every couple of months.

I have found that most protectants (including Chemical Guys VRP) become very tacky as they start to dry if used on flexible materials. Over time, they even seem to dry out rubber weatherstripping/gaskets faster in this fashion. I noticed that since it gets a sticky surface, gaskets would stretch and snap back when doors/tops were opened, and over time this lead to cracking.

I use 3-in-1 RV Seal Conditioner instead. 2x a year on all flexible rubber boots, weatherstripping/gaskets, etc. It never gets a sticky surface. Just something to consider. One can has lasted me close to 8 years.

Based on what I read on this forum, I've been using Gummi Pflege Stift it does a great job, and very easy to apply.

I was thinking about this today, as I inspected about 3 miles of seals on this thing.... holy cow.... I was gonna try some SuperLube silicone grease....anybody try that yet?

Works fine - does eventually dry out and you have to reapply

I’ve mostly shifted to just dry silicone spray - doesn’t make nearly as big of a mess and dirt doesn’t stick after it dries - but you have to spray it on more frequently

So this is NOT about the evils of riding bareback?
